I am Csaba Major, sound engineer and owner of StudioM. I got close to sound technique through music in my early 20s. Part of the underground scene in the 1980s-90s, my bands entertained the audience in Budapest. Near the turn of the century I acquired the skills of sound recording and studio technology at a course in the Hungarian public broadcaster Magyar Rádió.
In the 90s, I sharpened my skills as concert sound engineer for numerous large and small events. A sudden twist put me in the theater world. I spent 7 years as stage sound engineer and technical director at IBS under the directorate of Miklos Vamos. This experience introduced me to the movie scene step by step where after long years of practice and hard work I was awarded a Golden Microphone Prize for being the sound engineer of Valami Amerika 2, Fluke and Pinprick at the Film Festival in 2009. I built my own studio to produce the sound of a number of feature films, advertising, or even TV series.
